    Default Old St. Gotthard Pass

I never thought I would find a longboarding spot in a world politics class, but today we were discussing ancient European trade patterns and showed us a picture of Old St. Gotthard Pass in the swiss alps. I almost shat myself in class.

I have no idea if it's possible to ride this. It's a major tourist attraction, so traffic could be an issue (although things look good in that picture) and also, the pavement could be crap. But has anyone tried this? If not, please ride it...for me.

EDIT: Just read that it is paved with cobblestones. I'm not 100% sure it's true, but if it is I think that might make it a little difficult to ride. Still fun to dream about...

Here is a clip of Siegrist on a similar pass in the french alps!

(Most of you have probably seen it, but it fits the thread so nicely)
