how about Koln? there are some mad nice hills next to the river rhine!
i´m from Köln (Cologne).
hills start a little bit more to the south (from Bonn on and further south).
then there are hills to the east in the area "Bergisches Land" ("hilly country") and to the southwest in the "Eifel" (where i´ll be heading today ).
Köln itself is in the Köln/Bonn lowland plain meaning no natural hills at all but a very moderate climate.
Hallo anyone can you hear me in the german alps? munich, bad toelz area?
i am a student traveling abroad adn will be passing through Munich around May 20th for a day or two. if you wanna meet up and skate, that would be cool. you can show me a few of the good hills

1/2 hour distance from 2 downhill-eldorados: suedthueringen and fraenkische schweiz.
lot of hairpins, 5-8 km downhilltracks and speedboardroads up to 20% @good asphalt.
do you happen to know anyone, who surfed in st.girons last summer?
