Talking Visiting DE, CH, FR - I want a European setup!

Hey! I live in Vancouver, and I usually post on Coastlongboarding.com because it's local.

But soon I will be leaving that area for a bit.

I'm leaving for NE. Switzerland, S. Germany, and then S. France for 3 weeks.

I'm packing light and I've decided to NOT take longboard with me.

Instead, I'd like to buy a setup as soon as I land. Most likely in Switzerland or Germany.

I may take trucks and wheels with me to Europe because they're made the the USA anyway.

Does anyone have any good suggestions for a carvy speedboard for European roads?!?

I hear there's a nice shop in Freiburg, Germany, close to Switzerland, I'd visit that and skate THOSE hill wow!

Any suggestions? Thanks!

Also Is anyone willing to skate with me? I will be staying near Wil or Frauenfeld, Switzerland.

Dude, are you coming to Coash and the world championships??
I would recomend you to try and get a lgs helvet rocket or maybe a Sc8 race X-1 evo.
Truly awsome boards!!!
And trucks are also made in europe, MAGUN!!!

I think I will be out of reach of most of the events!

I really would like to race or even watch, but I have to travel lightly since we're going to be sightseeing all over. So that means I won't be carrying leathers, helmet, and all that... just a lightweight commuter board for sightseeing and transport.

So I'm looking at these airflow boards, they look nice!

Anyone please post here if you will be in Switzerland, around Nice or Barcelona between June 28 and July 14th! Lets skate!

Okay, well next time.

I'll be visiting Rollladen store in Zurich. It looks like they have some good items.. I'm thinking of picking up an airflow slalom, and maybe a speedboard too...

From June 22 to June 27 I'll be chilling in the area of Zurich and Frauenfeld.

Longboarding is fun!

unless your looking for unique to europe hardware, id strongly reccomend carrying in your own. from my experience, after the exchange rate and higher prices, expect to pay 1 and 1/2 times or more for trucks and wheels. for example a skateshop here in hamburg sells plastic seismics for 80€ a set! but picking up a nice european made deck is a great souvinir idea! theres a company ive seen called kaliber that makes good looking bamboo slalom decks.. and theres of course airflow and many others.. anyway enjoy your trip!
