Summer longboard trip through Europe

I'm considering a trip through Europe this summer. I would like to just longboard from country to country, meeting longboarders from other countries along the way. I don't want to do it through all of Europe, that would be too much. But, I would like to sk8 as much as possible so that I could see as much as possible. I'm thinking of starting either north (Scandinavia) or in England. If there are any international guys on here, can you give me some advice? What forums do you guys hit up for your country? Are there routes you would suggest through your country? What should I avoid? Where should I hit up? I'd like to see England, Scandinavia, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Czech, and everything inbetween. Really though, I'd love to hit up the sk8 spots in these countries. That would be sick to ride in the alps, cross-country in England, ohhhh ####....... I almost forgot Ireland! Well, as you can see, this trip is far more adveturous that realistic. But, I would like to start thinking about it to see if I could put it together. Realistically, I'd probably end up taking the train around and sk8ing wherever.

In France, I'd advice you to visit the Alps, where you are sure to find riders everywhere.
Find some contacts on the forum before you come though.
don't forget to check the calendar as there are LOTS of freeride and competition events during the summer, and you don't want to miss this !

Dude, i would love to come along, to be honest. I'll have my summer holidays the whole July of 2007. Therefore we can try to arrange that along the way.

I Would like to ask you guys from UK, if there is anyone willing to make friends, as now from the 27of december i was planning to go to morocco for a surftrip, but i realised that this is going to be impossible at the moment, cause the money ain't going to be enough. Therefore i was thinking to take my longboard and my surfboard and go down to south England or something like that, couse i got only a week of holidays, and i was thinking if there anyone who lives down there, which would be willing to receive me. Then we could get some good surfing and perhaps some longboarding too, it only depends if the roads are dried enough for it!!!

Anyone if no planned holidays, and willing to make a new friend, give me a shout please!!!

I've heard that the surfing is real nice around Cornwall, Newquay and other cities around there too, are u going to be in holidays during these days also, or u going to be busy with the shop?

I reckon you could come down over the new year. Bideford (nearest town) is the 3rd best place to party in the UK.

BUT, because of this, its really hard to get accommodation around here.

But you can try!

Newquay might be better to be honest.
