Urgent HELP NEEDED (Germany - Cologne) (wefunk apprendiceship)

Hi guys, first i would like to say that i have my flight booked from the 1st of april up to the 11th of april, from Glasgow (Scotland) to Cologne (Germany)

Second, i've got bad bad news.....i had a place to stay in Cologne where my ex-girlfriend is living, and everything was fine up to now.

But i just got an email from her, where she says that she's not prepared or ready to see me again. And before hand we have talked to each other, and she said it was fine for me to come and that there was no problem at all. What a girl huh? Now that my flight is booked she says that its not a good idea for me to come to her place.

Therefore i come to ask if there is anyone living in Cologne that knows a good place to stay, because now i think i am gonna have to go to a youth hostel or something like that.

The reason of my jurney to germany cologne, is because i am going to have a (apprendiceship) in wefunk for a week. So this is going to be in between the 2nd of april to the 6th of april i suppose. Although i'll be in cologne until the 11th.

Any suggestions are very appreciated at the moment.

i could try and hook you up with maybe one of the design students or something like that.

well, i hope i do have some design "art" background, since i worked for Osklen www.osklen.com for 6 months, and most o the Organic T-shirts and the surf colection desings from summer 06 colection were mostly designed by me. As well as working for Osklen which is one of the biggest fashion cloathing company from Brazil, i did lots of stuff for Disconexo www.desconexo.com
where i designed many jeans types and tees, which is owned by a friend that used to be a guitar player of a blues band we had in past. As well as doing all that i was also studying web-design, and advertising and marketing, though i only study that for one semester each course, that was the point when i decided to come to scotland to study something else. Not saying that i don't like desing or marketing and advertising, but i think i was just going mental in brazil, none stop working with 2 university courses to do, 3 mobiles, and lots, lots and lots, of sh!t to do, that was the point i got crazy, and decided to come to scotland.
I still love design and others, and my future plans is to finish this B.A.C.E (Curative Education) course here in scotland, learn german, and apply for a uni. in germany, in cologne perhaps?

So i hope i still have some creativity in vain.....i hope....well i guess it only needs to get back into practice again.

Thanks for the help Alex, do your students skateboard too? heheheh silly question i suppose.

Of course yes, that's why i posted that, cause if there is something good that people already know; it is going to be very helpful!!!

Although i still think that meeting new people is much nicer, you make new friends and learn lot of new things too, and of course spend much less money. (pogo baseplates.....hum....i dreaming on them). Of course it doesn't matter. I think just for the fact that i'll be in wefunk for a week its already a big dream realised!

I've been trying to practice this nose manual .....but i just can't get it right....so annoying...
i think i wouldn't complete a single parking place even.

But surprisingly some other tricks are poping out, like back shove it... which its almost there...front shove it...is a piece of cake (i do it fakie!) and today for my surprise, i almost made a kickflip, but i was to tired already...and my legs couldn't jump anymore!!!

Yes Alex, what do the crime stats in Cologne look like? Will it be safe for your Paduin? Have you picked out his practice light saber yet? And the Dark Side. How do you plan on protecting him from the Emperor?

You should have a great time working with Alex. He could be the biggest putz in the world (which he is not) and you would still learn a helluva lot because his board-building Shwartz is simply enormous.
As for the hostiles, they are a blast. Great way to meet a variety of people and experience interesting situations - places.

I'm from close to Cologne but unfortunately I go to school farther away.
If you're that pressed for a place to stay, I suggest you try hospitalityclub.org - Germany is the country represented the most and in Cologne you should surely find somebody who can host you for a few days - maybe even a longboarder!

I just picked up longboarding last autumn so I'm neither a pro nor do I know all the good spots in Cologne yet - but I'd be glad to have a sesh with you and I know there's plenty of other boarders and cool spots to ride around!
