Site looks sick and packed with content. Good job.. Too bad I have the same problem I had when I visited Prague, can't understand a word! Nevertheless I never had problems finding beautiful women or cheap delicious beer.

Everyone check Czech Republic out! it's a great travel destination.

Went to Prague last summer (well... the one BEFORE actually )
Very nice city, loved it !
Went there with my girlfriend so.... no board

I liked that place on the hill next to the park where everybody skates

Prague is a fun city in the summer, during the winter it can get a little dreary , the place that your talking about is called Letna, the big marble area where all the street skaters hang out , and clear the huge steps. actually this is the location where the huge statue of stalin used to be before 1989 when the tore it down .

Other than that the city offer a couple decent little downhill locations, and some angry drivers !!!!

I will be arriving in Prague 05.08.08. We (my wife and I ) will be staying in Prague for a few days and then going to Policka (sp?) for a slalom race. I have many questions about the skate scene there. I would be honored to meet up with you and see some of the city by skate.

Hi ,

sure no problem , it looks as if I will be returning from a freeride event in slovakia on the 4th of August so I should definitely have time . we can definetly get together and go for a tour of the city by board. There is also a strong possibility that I will be going to the Policka race as well

Hi there. I read your topic and i smiled I am from Romania and in august i will come to. I want to take my board with me and it would be awsome if i can meet other longskating mates. My plan is to go in Thalau for the IGSA world cup but i don't know if I can make it anymore (that and the fact that i dont think i'm ready for this without a good setup) But it will be nice if I end up in Prague. By the way...Thomas? You are the same guy from the longboard.cz that i wrote an email (from Marian) about a LY dh?

I lived in Prague for 4.5 years near Old Town. I pretty much had the only real skateboard. This was right after the Velvet Revolution. People used to ask me if they could borrow my board to move furniture, never to skate. Good to see you guys got the idea and dig it. Hella cool!

hey, i hope someone gets this soon enough, i'm in prague right now and i wasn't smart enough to bring my board... i know i know, anyways if anyone is interested in meeting up sometime to do some cruising i'd be super stoaked to skate it up. this place is absolutely amazing! i'll be sad to leave in 2 days
