you're gonna want to probably try to mold the plastic first, i just slapped the tinting on there with a flat visor, and it looked sick until the next morning after having it bent, the tint bubbled up pretty bad...

patience children. projects like these don't just appear out of thin air.. creating molds and prototyping takes time. they will be done in time for the 2010 race season. pricing won't change much, if at all.

is the bell drop or bell arrow recommended for DH?

i know a lot of people use them, but do they meet all the legit safety standards for bangin your head on concrete and cars?

there's some drops on ebay for 50 bucks, but with no shield i dunno if i want it or not. does no shield make much of a difference as far as aerodynamics is concerned?

idk much about bell's helmets but i hear "bell drop" mentioned all over the fish you should use the search function and see if ya can find anything.

my helmet is the AFX FX-90 and it comes with shield and all brand new. its very inexpensive idk check it out.

EDIT: the afx helmet is Dot approved so its legal to use when riding a motorcycle im sure itll be fine for longboarding.

The Bell Drop is an awesome DH helmet, mountain bike rated for smashing into those guard rails or trees you love to hit so much and it's pretty light and breathable. Also easy to make a face shield for with some 0.032" polycarbonate.

They go for $60-80 US at most online retailers, I'm not sure how much they're going for in that particular auction but it's a great helmet for pretty darn cheap.

As for the Predator, how're things lookin? Still waiting anxiously to see the finished product!

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, cold beer in one hand - longboard in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming, Yeaa Haaa What A Ride!!!
