Take it skiing and let us know how it handles it. When I eventually get one, I'm using it for snowboarding too

We dont know exactly yet, There is a lot of variables involved with the release of this helmet. Likely the first run will be just in time for Danger Bay 9, May Long Weekend. So if you're planning on getting in the first run, you can pick them up in Vancouver the Thursday before the race. If you know someone coming up North, book your helmet now to make sure you get one. They are likely to go very quickly.

Please Note: this is not a guarantee that it will be available at the time, but more or less an estimate.

[QUOTE=davidp;1297976132]heres a really nice side view product shot courtesy of dan pape.

as far as the chin being exposed, i felt that was a issue on the older, kayak model. the chin-guard has been beefed-up and expanded from the old version. as far as that pic of dan tucking with his chin kinda exposed, i would say that better positioning of the helmet on his head and getting the pads dialed in with regards to fit would have helped it out.

David is bang on. The helmet was too small for my biiig head. The shape of my head is large but the area from forehead to Back of head is long. For this reason, I had to tilt this helmet up a bit to that it fit "sort of' properly. The funny thing is I thought it was way to small but after riding in it for over an hour, I was still comfortable. I'm so excited to test out the large-extra large size when it's available. I bet pics of David in the helmet will take away chin exposure because it simply will fit him better.

we managed to find some dry pavement today and i shot a little video of kody noble skating a hill in santa fe. he's got a fairly small head and he was saying the helmet was fitting him very well...chin looks fully covered in this screen capture.

Will the sizes be like a charly where there is one shell size, different amounts of foam or will it be different shell sizes as well.

they won't be available for another month or so. the owner is in hong kong right now getting the project dailed in and trying to get the production run going.

As far as I know there is no pre sale list, you can email timeship racing and be put on a newsletter type thing about the helmet though, and I think that's all there is.

you are correct. email info@timeshipracing.com with DH-6 as the subject line. this is only a newsletter. that said, when the time comes to start taking pre-orders, people on this list will get notified first.
