Default letter from a concerned skateboarder to a greedy corpo pig

if you've ever heard of socalskater.com... i'm sorry. these guys flood my craigslist (against craigslist policys) with ad's for there cheap (poor quality) skateboards, and much worse if you look at the trucks they put on their completes, its clearly a copy of a respected american made truck. if this makes you as angry as it does me, i ask you to send this guy an email. maybe someone whos more familar with how copy right laws work can work on shutting down their truck rip offs, and if you see these fools on your craigslist, please alert craigslist like i have (its supposed to be local).

    heres the email: info@socalskater.com

heres my email i sent, along with the responce i got.

    me:

the trucks you are selling are complete rip offs of randal trucks. theres
    > no way that you didn't completely copy this off the randal design.
    >
    > also please quit clogging craigslist with your ad's for your inferior
    > chinese made skateboards. craigslist is meant to be local, and you clearly
    > are not local to charleston, sc.
    >
    > These represent disgusting business practices and you should be ashamed of
    > yourselves

    them:

Wow you are adamant about your opinion. But there are just as many people
that love having the option to get a great quality complete longboard for
half the price of Sector 9 or Gravity. As for the trucks I never claimed
they are Randall II's although the are very good quality. I'll assume you
will do a good job of making sure no one sees my ads anyhow.

    Thank you for your input.

Buyer beware. Granted these are some pretty poor business practices but at the end of the day it is up to the consumer to research any potential purchase. Besides all emails and complaining aside the strongest message that can be sent whether upfront like you have done or unadvertised is not buying the product.
