Hey Guys,


We are Motion Boardshop, a longboard shop based in north Seattle. We are 100% run by longboarders and believe in running a shop with nothing but the highest quality stuff. We only carry brands that we would ride ourselves; favoring smaller, "up and comer" companies. We try to stay active in the local longboarding community here in the Northwest; putting on events and attending races.

We love to hear feedback on how you like it and how we can improve. Make sure and check out the blog for the latest news and also visit the video gallery for all our instructional and action videos.

We'll keep this thread updated with the latest on what's in stock, events, promotions, and just answering technical questions. We'll do our best to check it at least once a day and get back to you.

We have demo boards of the A-10 and the B-17 to try out if you're ever back in the neighborhood. You'll notice we've made some big changes around the shop since the last time you were in. Thanks for the stoke!

Motion has a HUGE selection of boards, trucks and wheels to fit ANY need. Pros and no0bz alike can come and get treated equal, and they'll ride away down the burke-gilman trail on a shiny new deck!!! It's a laid back environment with a big 'ol couch and a tv where we can all play Skate! Jason is one of the coolest, most generous guys you'll ever meet and everyone who works there is a friend and is passionate about their jobs because when they get off the clock? They go shred. I <3 you Motion!!!

FYI we just got the new Purple 87a Venom Bushings in stock. Right now they're available in super carve, standard or downhill packs. We also have the Venom sidewinder wheels and the Madrid Bubbler Deck!

FSMini Decks just arrived too but only in the Factory Stamp graphic until the contest is over.

We do! Gnar Grip, Standard Jessup, Clear and Edger. It's on most of the product pages for decks as an add on but thanks for pointing that out to us. The site is still pretty new and there are a few things we need to tweak but I'll add it tomorrow.

Just checked and we do have the grip on there but I'll add pics and make it easier to find. We sell it by the board length and round up to give you a little extra. The gnar grip is definitely the way to go though.

sweet. at first i couldnt find it under any of the longboarding sections. i checked in decks and accessories and could see it. thanks motion!

i wish i could work in a longboard shop its my dream, i was living in seattle, shorline, but now i live in tacoma, i am looking at 5 mile longboard but its at U.P i wish i could at least skate with them

Thanks for figuring that out with Duane, he's an awesome guy and definitely didn't mean to step on anyone's toes.

Seth-Glad you saw it and liked it, want us to send you a copy of the DVD?

Killer-the five mile guys are awesome! They'd be down to skate with you anytime and they have that halloween outlaw coming up at the end of the month. I'm sure if you start repping their boards to help them take off, they'll be looking to hire someone to help build boards!
