haha it was like 12 am when I saw the sale and the board and I was super stoked... Then I went to sleep hoping that it would'nt be sold out but wudyahknow! haha... I guess thats life.

You know the saying, "You snooze, You lose", but I am a man of my word. It will take some time for me to heal-up and try out this new board (one of many purchased during my recovery). Yesterday was the first day in nearly five months, that I didn't need crutches. The healing process has begun.

How is the standing platform on the deck, specifically the extremes if you like to place your foot on the very edge? Is it comfy?

I haven't been able to get a feel for the deck yet. I had surgery to remove hardware from my ankle on Friday (broken fibula). Yesterday was the first day in nearly 5 months without crutches. I did set it up with Sabre trucks and Purptangs. Its going to be a couple months before I really get to roll it, but in the meanwhile, I'll let some friends try it out

I *pre-think* sabre trucks are PERFECT for this deck since they decrease wheelbase a good amount (and the cutouts on the deck are huge so it kinda balances the system)
