    They're definitely nice boards.

My brother lives in AZ, so yeah, it's too damn hot to go out.

the only time I go skate now is in the morning. park summer hours are from 7am. when I hop in my truck the thermometer says 95 degrees. 7am, in the shade, 95 degrees!

I'm wiped by quarter to nine and philo's thread on stinky pads had powerful meaning these past couple of weeks.

but it would all be worth it if I could get enough tips for that Gringo...

Don't the pads dry almost instantly in that kind of heat?

The Gringo is nice. Stiff, too.

No, he gave that up years ago (he's 11-12 years older than me). He spends his free time on his motorcycles (HD, BSA, and others).

    too bad.

still having trouble putting a crew together. getting to know people at the skatepark is taking too long. school doesn't start for a month. I'll have to put up flyers or something.

You have 2 pools and can't find a crew?
You can't hang a man, for killing a woman, who was trying to steal his board.

I think it would be bad form to walk up to someone in the skatepark and say "hi, my name is Mat and I know where there are two empty pools. Do you want to skate with me?"

I found a local website that is really in touch with the Arizona scene so I should be ok. some of the guys are part of Site Design Group, the people who made most of the good parks here in Arizona, so thats cool 'cuz they always look for input from the skate community for input of design and such.
