A bit of info about myself. I am based out of Cardiff, CA and have been skating 44 plus years and continue to skate all styles of skateboarding. I have been in the Surf and skate industry since the late 80's starting at Billabong and going over to the skate side at ADIO Shoes. Following those stints I worked at Gravity Skateboards.

With my depth in the industry and the love of skateboarding I will be bringing you the best goods available and superlative service. Heck, if you are in my area I will also be available at our local pizza joint Bestawan where I will hand deliver your product and buy you a soda or cold beer (must be over 21 and valid ID). There are great steep runs close by to test your new skateboard.

Awesome, im out in encinitas and have been looking for a local boardshop that I can check out. I just got into dh and have been looking for some local areas to practice, have any good spots for a noob

What makes you different from all the over skate shops online? No randals, paris, ect? if not then if you have completes they will be solely with surf rodz?

Doug will be the SZ point man out West......His visit to SZ this summer and unmatched talent in this industry is amazing. You might want to know that he was one of the first skaters to test the INDeeSZ....he got involved.

Doug and Mark(ECC) are the guys I talk to every day. Key locations and collaboration drives development and maintains that flow.

They will indeed be solely with Surf Rodz. When the new IndeeSZ comes out there won't be a reason to go back to cast. I worked with a cast truck company awhile back and honestly I would prefer to have skaters on the best equipment possible.

The difference is that I will not be fighting for the bottom of the barrel. My goal is to provide the best product available, truck, deck and wheel wise.

I will have contests, giveaways and great customer support.

One more thing. Since I come from the backyarder days of skating I will be bringing in great product that also works great in bowls, ditches and the all terrain type of riding. It will be a great way to have longboard skaters get into all the other unique styles of skating.

Hey Pleinair. Regarding shipping policy. There will discounts on shipping depending upon the purchase amount.

Bottom line is that I have helped startup companies and been in the surf/skate business for years and to stay in business I have to pay the bills. Free shipping on certain low dollar items pretty much eliminates and profit margin.

Doug is a great guy with a great mind. His experience couldn't be contained by a very large freight-ship.

Looking forward to him pushing solid products forward in the skate industry-

INDeeSZ will be available soon! Also arriving. CR Boardworks Hudu Vudu's, JuJu's and Manticores! Wait there is more Longboard Larry Penguins, Sea Calfs and Mini Pengu's. Did I mention Arcane? Metro Motions? and more. Don't forget the full line of Surf Rodz Trucks.

Oh and one more thing, be prepared for what Comet has up their sleeve. Skateboarding just keeps getting better.

Finally, I have been testing the INDeeSZ and they are incredible. Sell your cast trucks. Enough said.

The store goes live this week. Of course the entire line of Surf Rodz will be available right from the beginning and CR Boardworks decks should be in about a week.

Don't forget INDeeSZ are coming. Been test riding them and they are smoking hot.

Pete, just let me know when you head out to the west coast. I have some steep stuff. San Francisco steep runs about 1 mile from my house. Best part is that the runs end at our local Pizza Joint! You hike 4 runs and it's cold beer at the bottom. I'll also get you surfing since the beach is 1 block from the pizza joint.

Spread the word Surf Rodz INDeeSZ and CR Boardworks coming soon.

JB, Wayne and the crew over at the Surf Rodz factory are working on pricing this week. Should be ready to go very soon. Keep hanging in there. I have protos and am going crazy. My thing is to have these and all the rest of the Surf Rodz lineup on all my boards.
