I, for one, really am hoping all goes well for Austin, and Arcane longboards...His talent as a builder is obvious...I dont own an Arcane deck, yet...But I really hope to in the future...Just looking through the selection listed below makes me drool...

My daughter has a Grover and a 26" Mini...I have a Lil Fin...they are all great boards Once Austin gets back into it I'll be willing to put in another order or two.

I got it here on the fish in the classified section, a green one with white stripes too for 30 bucks great condition. But it doesn't seem like Arcane will be back on here for a while

point was that your $50 purchase is probably dwarfed amidst his current workload, not to mention his personal situation. people easily spend more on an order of bushings. you should probably just let it go, forget about it for now, and be happily surprised whenever they show up at your doorstep.. or dorm mailroom. it's not much to fret about.

actually i shoudnt. i do custom graphics (hence ordering the two boards UNFINISHED) and already have a buyer for one of them, and he's on MY ass about it. thus, i'm not gonna let it go. I've put too much work into the two designs (plus the fact that one of them is already resold) to let it go.

Haha telling someone else their 50$ purchase is insignificant. Not EVERYONE spends 50$ on bushings. 50 bucks to a poor college kid is a good bit of money, like food for a few days. I dont understand how someone else can tell someone not to worry about money just sitting out.

You guys can say whatever you want about Austin / Arcane - freedom of speech is an essential part of our society and I have no desire to squelch it. Maybe you're upset, maybe you're impatient, maybe you're even angry about how things have happened. That's your choice, that's your own deal. Austin, however, didn't choose to have life hit him over the head, he didn't choose to fall behind on orders, and he didn't choose to disappoint anybody. He did choose to be responsible and stop taking orders when he saw that his circumstances were conspiring against him. He did choose to put his family first and to take care of what was and is the most important. Yes, he does have a responsibility to those of us with standing orders, and I fully believe that he will honor that commitment as soon as he is able. To believe that is my choice.

I choose to believe in Arcane boards. I choose to believe in Austin and in the work he does. I have utmost faith that when this storm in his life subsides, he will come out on top and once again rock the longboarding world with some of the best custom boards out there. That's my choice. That's what I believe.

Now, to answer the questions that may have cropped up as you read this:
-No, I do not personally know Austin beyond a simple business acquaintance.
-Yes, I do have an order in with Arcane, and this post is the first and last mention I'll make of it until I review the finished board and post the pretty pictures for you all to see.
-No, I don't know any more details than you do regarding Austin's personal life.
-Yes, I do know how long you've waited for your board.
-No, I don't think it should matter.
-Yes, I have done extensive reading about Arcane boards
-No, I haven't ridden one.
-Yes, I do realize that having such strong faith in someone I've never met, in a product I've never used, is a bit strange.
-No, I don't think that should matter either.

Like I said, you can believe whatever you want and you can say whatever you want... and so can I. So, I believe in Arcane, I have faith in Austin, and I say to him: Stay strong, stay focused, keep your head up, and have faith that you'll make it through this stormy time. I'm praying for you.

all that is good an fine, but as i said earlier, I'm buying these boards NOT FOR MYSELF but to resell. ONE OF WHICH has already been sold. Thus, i would like an update on the boards so that i can tell MY customers what to expect. People are getting on my ass about this, so i just want to make sure i get my boards to them.

Just to let everyone know I found out I've been unable to receive most emails to austin@arcaneboards.net. I think it's because we were in the process of changing web hosts and getting the site up before everything went to hell. Some go through and some don't so I'm not sure what's up.
