Arcane Boards Info and Updates

ATTENTION:

I am proud to announce that as of today, I am a member of the Arcane family! I went to the Chicago Cone Crusher today and while I was there I bought Larry Schild's 'gecko' Arcane Mini. It needs a little bit of setup adjustment to fit me better, but I can tell already it's going to be a bucket of fun.

Thanks to Austin for building this board in the first place, and to Larry for selling it to me! I'll get up some pics of me riding it soonish, but if you really need to see it, search through this thread

I love it already, don't know what the original setup was but it currently has Ace 00's with a shock riser, 71mm Bennett 'gators (78a clear green), and blue Khiro Standard bushings. I rode it around for quite a while today... even as small as it is, I was able to comfortably cross-step quickly. I did some coffin carves too, and with astonishing ease. I also spent at least 20 minutes just gliding around in smooth, sweeping arcs through the new parking lot on campus... made me feel like I was up with the seagulls floating overhead.

It was also a good time surfing down the small hills on campus, though I got a little wobbly coming out of a low-riding position and bailed at one point. Now my left arm, leg, ankle, and foot are a little more colorful

I just hope it stays warm enough tomorrow that I won't have to wear long pants or a jacket...

pretty swell i have randals on it which i have yet to find a sweet set up on
its 90cones/85cones venoms

i'm using it as my garage bomber type deal so wishing it was stiffer

so just an update for everyone on my lil fins (the last of the fins before the epic fallout)......the first is halfway to completion on the 'queen' graphic and the second has one more coat of poly to dry before completion. Pics tomorrow

As per the "Epic Fallout" I'd like to say that right now that's almost behind me and I'm F*cking Stoked! Over just the last week things seem to be looking WAY up and turning to the favorable side of life and my little endeavor. Not that everything's peaches and cream but it's enough to feel a significant change here in the pressure cooker. Thank you all for being so patient with me, it really means a lot. I have a lot more to offer in the future and hope the support remains.

wow its been a while since i have been here. how you doing Arcane? i hear from Timorne that you might be coming to fresno soon. hes been doing some races here. BTW my boards are still with me and still rolling. i work more now so i hardly skate but i still get a big ass grin on my face when i jump on the 60"

Glad to hear that man, I haven't been around SF much through the winter, to keep myself from going insane.. but now that I've been out (and riding the mini.. still loving it) I've been back on here.. read through thelast bit of the thread and it looks like it's been a crazy time..
I might be interested in a board before long, but I'm not sure.. I think I may sell a few others first, heh.
