The "reworked" eel looks pretty cool.
That symmetrical drop through with cut outs shape is getting popular, which is cool because it's versatile. This one has by far the most nose/tail room I've seen on a board that style.

This would be a cool feature to include on the web page. You could have a link to each board that includes multiple views.

We are trying to take the board to the next level by making it more versatile freeride board. The Eel will be 41.5" long x 9.75" wide. That is .5" shorter and .5" wider increasing the concave to .75" with 1" of camber. The nose and tail will be symmetrical at 2.75" long and 4" wide with slight flair's which will increase surface area for shuvits/manuals/g-turns etc... The platform will bend out from the nose/tail at a sharper angle to give you more space to work your magic. The wheel base has been shortened by .5" making this deck carvier than ever! This deck will also have drop thru mounting to slightly lower the deck. We are in the final stages of production and should have this board available for purchase soon!! Check back for updates. Below is a rough template of the new design. Actual pics coming soon....

Yes its vert lam bamboo! This board isn't quite finished but when it is it will have a couple layers of glass on it and have a mirror finish. We will try and make a video this weekend to show the flex and movement of the board while being ridden.

The new Eel looks AWESOME!! The improvements are more noticeable than I thought they would be. The concave is sick and the nose/tail sections look very functional. I want to ride one! Will you have one ready for demo day?

i was just messing around the vendors board on the 'fish yesterday and today i dropped by to say that the new eel pictures looks awesome.

very sweet concave, not only the depth, but the shape of it looks great. nice camber and drop through also. very sweet. is it a light board?

Yes, the board is very light! They are made of bamboo which is some of the lightest wood around. The glass adds some additional weight, however we keep that to a minimum. I dont have exact numbers but it weighs around 3lbs.

Nice looking board, couple of questions:

What's the turnaround time on one of those new eels?

How's the flex for someone around 190?

What wheel sizes will it allow?
