I've been trying to be as patient as possible, but it is becoming harder to wait. I too would like to know how things are going. Hopefully it's just a really hard decision!

We're done with everything that needs to be done on the computer, now we just need to discuss everything and come to a final decision.

Almost... it's going to be a hard choice. It is most definitely narrowed down to two people. We may have to figure out a way to sponsor both.

The written and the video were about half and half. But if someone had just an amazing video or just a really good written entry they still have a chance.

Awesome! How epic would that be! Contests like these would be a cool thing for Ghoti to do every year. Not necessarily for a sponsorship, but for decks, discounts, shirts, whatever. It would be a great way to get the Ghoti name out there, as well as give a reason for people to get out there, shred, and make rad videos. I love these contests and I think more companies need to be doing this stuff. It's a way for those of us who can't travel to races to compete.

Exaclty! I live in the middle of the country, away from the big hills that races are held on, so I try and take part in every video contest I can, just because I love making vids and it's even better when I have a reason to.

I actually am holding a race on the race hill in my town (the one I do speedboarding on in my sponsor video). It'll be the first race I'm holding, so it should be a lot of fun!

Outlaw. I'm looking to get a prize though. It was intended to be legit, but I didn't have enough participants to go through with it. I finally got the people I needed, but now I don't have enough time to make it official. Next year it'll be legitimate though.

The final date hasn't been set, but it'll be sometime between August 10th and 17th. I'm still working with the participants to get a final date set.

i was pondering putting on a push race down on the tacoma water front cuz its really pretty and all and it would be a great way to get tacoma riders together to have more sessions with more people, but i would possibly need help finacially (for permits to use roads and such) and as for prizes or awards it would be great to have a company pitch in so if i am some how still in the running for this sponsorship i might be talking to you guys about some help to put this on
