What's up everyone? My name is Greg, I'm 23, and I just got into longboarding after 7 years off from street skating. I sucked pretty bad at street skating, so I'm pretty much a born-again noob on a longboard. I plan on just cruising around for now, and just get comfortable skating again.

I live out in San Bernardino, CA (suburb of LA, about 50 miles east) and just picked up a S9 Waimea about a week ago. I ordered some Randal 180mm trucks this morning, so I'm pretty anxious to try those out.

Anywho, if any of you guys are ever out this way, drop me a message and we can cruise around and grab a beer afterwards.

im 21, i live in LA, about to move to Dago. i used to live in Denver, and thats where i learned to bomb hills. been bombing hills for 3 or 4 years now. havent raced anything official. just outlaw nonsense and bomb hills for fun and hit those fantastic parking garages.

i also have an Arbor Fleetwood, an Arbor Oso (short little 29") and a super old homemade dancer. i guess thats about it from the Doc, later for now

I'm semi-new.. 44 posts is a good time to introduce myself, right?

A regular computer/technology geek, lazy, fears the sun. Otaku. From a situation in which the origin is questionable, he finds solace in durable, stacked plies of wood with 4 wheels. Sudden exposure to untapped potential leaves him shocked, yet ready for action.

He's from Winfield, BC. A hilly, sprawling town with average quality roads and increasing foreign population. (He fears the 2010 Winter Olympics and the infestation of newmovers it will bring. Also, their huge Hummers and SUVs sapping the joy of the road.) A TGM Pintail and a Landyachtz Evo are both well equipped to handle whatever the concrete ocean will throw at him.

He has been longboarding about a month, still a novice but very eager to learn. He welcomes all fellow skaters to query him about computers, technology and electronics, to exchange knowledge.

Hi! I've been lurking for a while and figured I should introduce myself. My name is Blaise, I live in Manhattan (I'm a college student) and I've been skating regularly for about two months on a Bustin strike. I first started longboarding several years ago on a Bozi pintail but just got back into it recently. I mainly cruise and carve around my neighborhood (Inwood) and occasionally skate around central park. I really need to learn how to slide and wouldn't mind trying some moderate dh. I would also love to meet some New York or tri-state area people to skate with (maybe they could help me conquer my fear of skating in traffic).

    What's up fellow Longboarders??

New to the forum. Went on a killer 5 mile ride yesterday on Brand spanking new asphalt with a few friends and got some decent shots. As soon as I figure out what is going on with my video camera I will post up a video. (new camera, non technical user) A friend referred me to this fourm and said I needed to come and post the video of getting harassed by the cops.

Anyways hope to get it all fixed and up soon.

Whats up everyone, 8 days ago I rode a longboard for the 1st time, the next day I bought a S9 Wamiea and rode 15 hours over 3 days. I used to street skate when I was 11-14 or so but I was always into bombing hills and shredin it Dogtown style. Friday went to a local shop that carries neversummer and ended up with NS Heist (sold the s9 to a friend), been riding hills, garages, working on slides, nosemanual 180's and more. What a awsome 8 days its been, anyhow im in the Akron, Ohio area so anyone around who wants to roll let me know!

Hey Everyone. I'm Silas. I'm a college kid, and I've been riding (hard) for about three years here in SW Florida (sarasota). This forum has been amazing the past few weeks helping me decide on a new board, much more so than anywhere else, so I figured I'd stop trolling without a username and get on here.

    Hello, and how d'ya do

Where is the new asphalt of which you speak of? I'm always looking for a ride like the groomers on Copper Mtn.

anyone know the best way to clean mud off of grip tape? :-]

the off the wall is fun and easy to bring on the plane, i travel alot. good slow carving board or cruiser. good shape.

the dregs is more stable and faster.... good for bombing hillz. i haven't ridden that one as much since i travel so much.

i think i need to buy this one though.... i miss having a kick tail and nose.

Hey there, new here (obviously). From the Seacoast NH area, 14 years old and been longboarding since the beginning of summer. Ride the Globe stained glass board, not that great, but a board's a board!
