Hi, I'm New!

I've been longboarding about three months. Had a Dervish and sold it. Bought a very cheap Vanguard for 125 complete, and I now ride a Bustin Spliff. Cool.

Hey there
Started longboarding at college on a pretty flat campus to get around, now that I'm home in the Bay Area I'm starting to ride actual hills and learning to slide. I ride with my dog, who'se gotten amazing at dodging polyurethane in the past 6 months, she's a puppy but this is still the only way I can keep up with her.
Started on a big old sector 9 bamboo pintail which was fun until it got wet and splintered all over the place after a crash. Now I ride my Vanguard whenever I can and use a little Sidewinder board around lafayette. Just ordered an INsect lightning bug and can'tm wait for that to show up so I can do some real hills, there's no shortage in the bay area.

whats up guys?! Im new, but technically ive been reading posts on this site for a few months. I just never post or anything. I ride a small cruiser, cuz im broke. But you bet when I can afford something better ima get it!! Im growing fond of this downhill scene and have been practicing on my sooo not meant for downhil board. But the way I see it, is if I can do it on a small, unstable board... Imagine how much better itll get on a DH board right? But yeah. Pretty much all you guys rule. And dont worry, ive never had to ask a question yet cuz I DO infact use the search button.

i'm new too!! been boardin for 2months now. i'm from the p.i. and i ride a sector9 haleiwa and gravity carve 39 but i'm thinkin on upgrading to a dervish or a nine star. been scopin the fish since i started but only registered today.

I'm relatively new to longboarding (going on 2 months now) but i absolutely love it, reminds me a lot of snowboarding (which i'm no stranger to). never skated before longboarding so it's completely new to me. and oh yeah, i ride a Sector9 Bomb Hills, planning on maybe picking up some trucks(crail speeds?) and new wheels (gumballs, i already beat the s9 wheels to death)

Been longboarding for a coupla years now, skated since i was a rebellious youth though! Been using my S9 Carbon spoontail for general crusing but i've got a Dseed setup on the way after a pretty enlightening weekend in Eastbourne! See you all at some british/euro DH next year!

Yo, I'm John. Took a fractured foot and a broken wrist to slow me down enough to post. Don't worry, I'm still out there bombing hills, but not as often. Riding an Arbor blunt, not quite an appropriate DH board, but it's stiff, and as long as I keep perfect balance it rides fine. Be getting a LY DH soon.

As well as DH I enjoy Aggressive Inline, Parkour, Snowboarding, skiing, and skiboarding. I also enjoy flying, Indie music, and Thai food. Long walks on the beach, are dumb and overrated. Give me a nice large hill any day.

What's up guys, I'm Sean, I'm 18 and I just started riding about 6 weeks back, but it's come really naturally because I love to snowboard. I bought a Sector Nine bamboo pintail cruiser deck from a friend for 35 bucks and some old trucks and wheels from another friend for $20. I love carving hills with loose trucks, and I use my board every day to cruise around my college campus (CU Boulder).

Longboarding is the best thing ever! It has definitely reshaped how I do things. Like I work my day around when I go out to skate...maybe I'm a little obsessed, but I don't care!
