Krolg- 'shred or be dead I can't wait to get to cruising.' awesome line dude, you should put that as your sig or something
I skate because there's no Facespace, no Mybook, no Twatter, no eMail, no television, no commercials, no celebrities, no zillion dollar sports teams. No bulls--t whatsoever... It's just me, the pavement, one deck, two trucks, four bushings, four wheels, eight bearings, and some mounting hardware. My very own little race car, my own flight simulator, and it feels f--king great. ^^FlyKneeGrow^^

how you doing, i am new to the longboarding scene. always have been drawn to it. i surf, but with a full time job and lack of waves i have been really interested in getting into this. i have no idea what board to get. i have narrowed the choices between Originals torpedo 40 and the apex 37. when i surf i usually roll with my 6'6" and fish carve a little, but i love getting and nice long ride. anyone have any advice????

yo dude whats good? im pretty new also to this community, but if u want a longer' longbord thats good for carving, dancing and even dh lok at the sector 9 mundaka. its 46", u just might want to look at buying new/better wheels for it. Also take a look at the loaded dervish, or pretty much any Original carve board.

Re: The Official "Hi, I'm New!" Thread
Hey Silverfish! I'm new here (well i joined awhile back but wasn't active) and I've been skating for about 3 years now. I started on my brothers boards, then i got my own trick board; which wasn't much fun. My bro taught me how to carve and drift one year in. I got my first board after 2 years, a Sector 9 Rasta Native. That year my brother and i mobbed Fresno CA nonstop and he taught me how to do check slides, layback slides, and 180 slides. I moved from Fresno to Morro Bay, and my brother passed his dancer and DH board to me. I've been mobbing the hills around here nonstop and decided to come back to the Fish.
Another thing I'd like to add, My family and i make Longboards and have been for the past 2 years. Though the production rate has fallen, we can still pump out our models. They are great boards, 40" pintail with great camber and concave, 48" speedboard, and now we are making a Dancer (length not specified yet). PM me with questions and ill get back to ya.
But anyway, good being back on the fish!

Re: The Official "Hi, I'm New!" Thread
Greeting all. Huh, Im not really good with this whole introductions thing so ill just splurt it out. Hi, Im very new to longboarding, so new in fact that I have only gone through one pair of shoes. I started because I saw a board that I liked when I moved to Vancouver. I then later realised that I dont like it and I want a new on. Its a S9 (dont judge me, it had a pretty graphic on it and I had never skated before). So now I am here, the home of longboarding so that you guys can school me and I can learn. I have a passion for the rush and I really enjoy this as a lifestyle. So hi to all I hope I can engage in some awesome converstions from here on in!

Hi all, You guessed it, I'm new to the fish. I've been around longboards for 2 years and just started riding myself, still working on stopping. My board of choice is a Dervish w/ flipped Randals and I recently started working for Stoked Skateboards.
