Hey guys, im new at this and need to know where i should be looking (or for what) for a short board with a tail, wide, sort of like the old ALVA's, for bombing garages and suff like that.
Hii. My name is Shianne, and I ride a landyachtz 9 ply maple drop carve, and it is a sexy beast. =) I just started riding a couple months ago with my boyfriend and completely love it. So far I just cruise on it, a little downhill, nothing too big yet though. =) As for where we skate, we just skate around the bike trails that go all around town and out by the lake, not only is it gorgeous scenery, but there's also some tame hills that are fun to ride.
Hey everyone. I just joined. I've been longboarding since I was about 15, but have just started to really get into it, so I decided to check this place out. I have a BC Surf & Sport board. It was just the cheapest one they had. Here are some pics of my friend (bookworm) riding it, and a few of the board.
Hey, I'm Austin. I'm completely new to longboarding, and I don't know anybody who has a longboard, but it looks crazy. I'm looking at getting an Apex 37.
Hi I'm Rob & I'm new to silverfish. I used to skate alot back in the day and stopped around 97. Recently a friend introduced me to longboards and I'm hooked! I have a couple of set ups already and I live in Burnaby, BC.
Ok some info about me:
I'm 13, live in southern California.
Owned a longboard for a year, done nothing more than cruising places.
My sector 9 I won in an auction was a great ride until it got stolen out of my garage when I gone for spring break.
I liked that board so I much I wanted a new one and thats how I found this site!
theres a lot of information on this site, its pretty overwhelming, but I guess that i will use the search tool to get all my answers.
Hey, I'm Nolan, and i just found out about this site. Was in the process of searching around the internet for info on a new board. I've been longboarding for a little over a year now, and i absolutely love it. I used to skate when i was younger, but stopped around 12, then a friend introduced me to longboarding and i was hooked. I ride a Loaded Dervish with Randal 180s and Otang freeride wheels. So stoked I found this site and i'll definitely be coming back to it alot.
Ive been longboarding for oh...a while now but most seriously in the last 9 months. Its a very fun hobby (and by hobby i mean life controlling obsession).
My friend and fellow (better) longboarder Max Chang got me onto this site, and has really pushed me along in the hobby as a whole.
I skate aroung The Long Beach/Lakewood area of Southern California, and have found im addicted to the adrenaline rush from DH bombing. Cruising, carving, and pumping are all very cool as well. Tricks...well im working on those haha!
My arsenal used to be rather decent, a pimped out Surf One cruise/bomber, fat pintail, off road board, and a homemade little fella. Pretty much all of them except my little guy got stolen recently, so im set to reload with bigger and better boards! Shwing!
Hai guys, I'm new here. Currently recovering from a broken fibula/torn tendons/torn ligaments/surgery. Just started skating yesterday for the first time in about.. 10 weeks? I own 9 boards and like to carve, dance, freeride and commute. I'm from Arizona and have only attended the Arizona Pusher. I'm 13 years old and looking forward to skating more once I'm completely healed up. Not even supposed to skate for another 6 or so weeks.

Uh yeah I live in Colorado, and mainly just board as a hobby. I own a P.O.S. sector 9, even though I'm looking to upgrade really soon. I have zigzags and reds, though. I'll probably get Venoms soon, too.
I post in Anything Goes occasionally so I already know a couple people here.
Hey everyone. My name is Marty and I'm from southern Vermont. I've been "normal" skateboarding since I was six, but I've only been longboarding for about two months. I'm not super good yet. I do lots of cruising, some freestyle stuff, and I'm particularly interested in downhill. The fastest I've gone so far is only 35, but I thought it was fun as hell. I'm currently recovering from a broken elbow, though--I did a WAY too fast stand up slide and went flying...
