well in mongo your more likely to hit the back wheels, some a deck with large cutouts, and wider trucks than the deck might be a problem. you will learn to adapt, but you may fall a bit.

I know you really really don't want to hear this and I'm really sorry to tell you, but learn to push regular. I'm just trying to help you. I switched from mongo to normal about a year ago and I wish I had done it sooner. It probably took me about a week to get completely used to it but it was so worth it. It helps so much for footbraking and long distance pushing because you will still have a strong mongo push to go with your regular push.
And to stay on topic, the loaded fish is not very mongo friendly. I'm not sure about the ceviche though. Pretty much anything with really loose conventional trucks will be pretty difficult.
I've got more time pushing mongo than you do alive, it's faster and more powerful but it it has disadvantages especially park skating which is why being able to push both ways is better

I push mongo and have a Chinook, FSM etc.. I started learning regular not to push regular but so I could skog. Now I can push both ways and actually find mongo to be advantageous sometimes, like with my Carver C7 or Revenge trucks, I find I have more control pushing mongo than regular. The rocker on the FSM and forward lean on the Chinook are fine, for me it actually helps while pushing mongo. I can see how it could be a problem park or pool skating but have seen plenty of skaters do just fine. Do what is comfortable for you, however skogging is a nice way to get back up hills that are not really steep. I still push off mongo from the top most of the time.
