Keep in mind that being sponsored can (and should) be a lot of work on your part. It's not what they can do for you, it's what you can do for them.
It sounds glamorous, but many times it's not all it's hyped up to be. That said, if it's what you want, skate lots, and skate well, and it will come if you play your cards right.
I've always kind of figured the best way to get sponsored was to skate hard, and just have fun with it. Just have an all around good vibe. Spread the stoke so to speak. Help out the community.
If i had a company and i had a choice of sponsoring the guy that one every competition but was an a##hole and a guy that was good but not the best, but he did more for the community......Theres no way in heck i would sponsor the a##hole. No matter how much better he was.
