Default Bottom mounting a top mount board?

I know this is completely random, I was bored and just started thinking about it. But could you mount the trucks on the bottom of a top mount board or would it put too much stress on the four wooden corners? I know its already doing that when you do top mount it but I wanted to check just for the hell of it.

I think you mean top mounting a drop-thru. It has been done but there is a greater risk of breaking something. If what I said makes no sense I'm sure someone else can help answer your question.

I think he wants to mill out a drop-through for a topmount board. If that's the case then it's possible and I don't think it should affect the board or make it more fragile If you do it right.

just wondering, you say there is greater risk of breaking something, why? the stresses are more evenly distributed, therefore there is no change at all.

I just thought I heard it somewhere. It made sense that a hole in the board would make the board weaker. Just my two cents. Sorry for any confusion.
