Evo or Drop speed

I have recently smashed the tip of me drop speed. It has happened 3 times since i got the board about 3 months ago. There is a crack going all the way through, and a whole layer chipped on top. i could probably snap the end in half with my hands. I use it for mostly DH and sliding.
my friend offered me his 2008 evo (orange tree) for a trade. He would fix up the drop speed and give me his evo. I do love the drop speed but it just seems like it is made terribly. it chips way to easily.

Dude! If you like your drop speed go to bombsquad's web site we have a noseguard that will strengthen the cracked area. I believe that someone who bombs garages with us had a similar problem with a crack in his but the nose guard fixed it.
