Where do you do your riding??

where are your favorite longboarding spots or what kinds of places do you like to ride

Neighborhoods with huge windy/straight slopes into 90* turns that require huge predrifts.
Or just a long ass windy road with a few friends in tow

I have my usual route I take at NCSU and they have quite a few 5-6 story parking decks that are awesome. golf courses are fun but they usually do not last long if they happen at all because of the staff.

anywhere in san diego that i can get to by metro. plus i ride to school which has hills going both ways, takes about 20 min to get to school, about 15 to get home

Well, there is a fairly long hill right in front of my house that I ride on if I'm bored. But, I live right along a bike path so if I hop on there for a couple of miles there are a bunch of shorter but steeper hills right next to each other with little or no traffic. Some of the asphalt is pretty shitty though =/.

But really, i like to ride nice long twisty roads, or huge long gentle straights that you can just piss round on and have some fun trying new stuff etc

if me and the wifey are bored we ride the street down from our house.

most fun is the University of Utah campus. fun 15 min runs with multiple ways down and a light rail system that takes you right back up to the top for free. plus the giant stadium parking lot where the light rail picks you up from is a perfect place to learn slides and so wide you could probably carve close to a mile just going back and forth across the entire thing from top to bottom.

I personally love a nice long gentle slope for crusing, it's fun to do everything from stepping to carving.

I usealy do my riding during my lunch breaks, but i love going up to the mountin roads near Shaver Lake.

I like parking garages best. Bike trails are fun and simple, good exercise (they are all flat here in CT). Cemetary's are good too - usually curvy hilly roads, with very little to no traffic.
