Re: grip tape applying ?
first off, every sector9 board has that cut out and its not really sticker..
secondly, this is what i did,
before i removed the old grip, i took a piece of paper and put it over the cutout and then traced over it with a crayon to get the outline...
i then put that tracing on the new grip and measured it so that it was right over where the cut out should be...i cut the hole with an utility knife then applied the grip making sure the hole was lined up with the graphic..

Re: grip tape applying ?
ok thnx but one more question.
since its drop thru trucks, should i put them in and then grip over them or cut out the square at the top so i can see the bottom of the trucks?

Re: grip tape applying ?
No,cut out the places for the trucks, otherwise you'll end up with bulges in your griptape
And take out your trucks before gripping, so that you can get right on the edge of the truck hole

Re: grip tape applying ?
grip the whole deck without trucks on it, then when you're cutting the edges, use a file and a razor to cut the dropthrus clean as well

I might be wrong but i think its flush mounted drop thru...that way the trucks sit flush with the deck so when you grip over it there is no bulge..if its the sand wedge thats how it is..most s9 drop thrus are that way..

Re: grip tape applying ?
When you wanna leave a space in the griptape to show a graphic, trace the outlines of the graphic onto the grip and cut it out. To get the space right over the graphic cut the backing paper of the grip into two halves. Now position it right, hold the grip in position with one hand and pull off the first part of the backing paper. Griptape should be stuck now in the right position and you can remove the other half of the backing paper.
