strangest thing you've ever crashed/almost crashed into?

i ran over a squirrel the other day doing 25-30. threw me off and i slid a bit. god i ####### hate squirrels.

I almost hit one at the last race I was at. Came around a corner at like 40 and that little ****er was just sitting there. I avoided it, ate poopy, then lost my board into the bushes for the duration of the race. I found it afterward, but it was a bummer.

So I live in Long Beach, CA on the coast, right? As I'm going down the sidewalk by the beach houses, a full-grown rooster jumps out of the bushes in front of me. I totally freaked for a second because it was a fricken rooster in the middle of Long Beach. I pushed by and looked back a block later to make sure I wasn't high or crazy and it was still there. Weirdest thing.

one time i hit a possum. I was goin down a hill and smacked his back end and sent him spinning across the road. when I looked back he had this mean look on his face and was hissing at me!

i was riding to my mates house along the footpath and i pulled onto his yard straight into a fresh pile of dog this like 4 inches high! i had a horrible time getting the #### off my trucks.

i was skating home one day along the foot path and a real old lady walked out of her property and almst had a heart attack when i almost hit her. i felt really bad cause she got freaked.

ages ago my mate was skating down baldwin street (officialy the steepest street in the world( look it up!!!)) when a guy in a SUV opens his door. my mate was midway through a coleman and he slid under the wheel well in the door. straight out of a movie i swear!

I was bombing to school last year and i hit a dead bird like a robin or somethong and when i got to school this whore girl thought she would be sexy and lick my wheel oh the look on her face when i told her i trampled a carcass with those otangs haha

Swerved around a half-squished, very dead lizard today. I say very because simply "dead" doesn't seem to describe just how ####ed this lizard was. A horrible harpy of my acquaintance happened to drive by a few seconds earlier and hit this poor liz, running over his back legs and tail... This of course forced all of his little lizard organs right out of his mouth. RIP little buddy.

Another time, it was teaching myself how to slide, and smashed into the garage door.

I bui.t a slong board over the weekend and went garaging, i did a pressure spin and when i jumped back on the nose snapped off so i put it in a shopping cart and pushed it all the way home, then i chopped it into a wicked mini.

We found this newly paved road somewhere in the middle of nowhere over the weekend, went back there on Sunday and set up a tent and speakers and had a few races. What we did not expect was a group of goats crossing the street, and the cacti you slide into when you lose control. All good fun though.

I didn't crash into it, but I (my longboard, rather) stopped dead in my tracks after running over the top of a pumpkin someone left on the sidewalk.

Irony is that later that day, friends and I were trying to throw pumpkins off a parking garage onto that sidewalk. Never really occurred to me until now...

We had a HalloBomb Slide Sesh at a favorite local S-turn here in Hawaii...one of the girls that hangs out had her camera setup in the apex-ish area of the first turn. I went into a heelside slide and gribbled...my hellycat shot out of under me like a bat outta hell and headed straight for her camera...took out her camera and i ended up with a softball size patch of skin missing off my a$$...her camera was fine...pretty nice video of my board taking out her camera though!
