Talking My first longboard, VERY 'surfy'

the last of the parts came in yesterday, I am really stoked about it!

    Loaded Dervish (Flex 2)
    Original S10 250mm trucks
    Abec 11 Flywheels 97mm 72a Duro.
    Bones Reds Ceramic Bearings.

When I first was throwing it together, I thought that I could use the S10s as drop through trucks, so I am now wishing I went with the Vanguard, but I am still REALLY happy with it! What do you guys think? Pics coming!

The originals will make the board have stupid flex and the wheels will be hell to push. Or maybe it will be fun.....

Those trucks are AMAZING! and yes, 'SURFY' is the proper description. It feels exactly like I'm on the waves.

No wheel bite at all, actually, with the trucks at max turn, I still have about an inch before I would hit.

Sir your setup is so utterly bizarre. Well done.

How do the S10's feel? I opted the for S8's. Is it a slow carve or can you still do 360's in a couple feet?

I have them set sooo damn loose that I trace circles around a man hole cover, I'll try and get a vid of it or something, would you guys be interested in seeing it in action?

I am also going to use it for some Colton / Stokowski dancing, might try and use the INSANE size of the trucks/wheels to my advantage. Haven't ever done dancing before, where should I start?

Those trucks are mounted topside to the bottom of a drop through? Wow! That's one I haven't seen yet!! Sheesh!

Different, in my book, just means different.

I can bolt spare tires all around my Mercedes and spray paint the whole thing orange and then glue 4000 upsidedown bottle caps all over it..

    That's different too.
Madrid 41 Drop, Randal II 50 degree, 75mm 83a In Heats, Super Reds, 87a top/93a bottom conical set...low stiff and very fast.
S9 Bomb Hills, Paris 150, 68mm Zigs, Minilogos, 93a Conical top/90a Barrel bottom...dedicated LDP board
Loaded Dervish, Flex 1, Randall II, 83a Durian, Venom 87a top/90a bottom conical set, Bombsquad nose guards...great everything board
