Retro Skateboards released their killer FreeRides wheels in February '09, stokin' out skaters that had craved a set of the incredible 'Fishballs wheels and opening up options for carving, sliding and ripping with two additional duros in the "Reflex" line of ultra-rebound, super traction urethane. They're fast, plush and grippy when you want them to be. Now, Retro's got the same wheels, but poured in the "Classic" Abec 11 urethane formulas for skaters seeking a different feel, and Silverfish Longboarding.com has the first, limited pour of them, reserved for you...

They'll MSRP for 48.99 and will go on sale on 09/09/09 at 0'900, Pacific Time. SilverfishLongboarding and Retro Skateboards will release the first pour of the wheels here, exclusively, and for a screaming "Back to School Daze" deal, or a "Post Labor Day" deal, or "Barry Obama's Fire Sale" deal...whatever you'd like to call it. It's going to work pretty much just like the FreeRides release: 1 Cent Shipping for Gringos, and you foreigners pay just a little more. $49 bucks for Classic FreeRides. If you don't have PayPal, you are out of luck.

what's the shape of these? an 80a powerball would be sweet, but a huge part of what makes the powerball great is the shape...

I'm not looking for another set of strikers. Any input?
