This is so funny... it reminds me of an experience that I had with my parents... Heres the story:

Mom:*walks into my bedroom (Looks around).
Mom: "where'd you get those bright green wheels on that skateboard"(Referring to my bigzigs).
Me: "I got those when I got my skateboard mom"...
Mom: "Oh" *walks out of room.

Not that it mattered where I got the wheels, much less when (I work and pay for my hobbies with my own money).... I just think its funny how ill observant my parents are and how anal your parents are hehehehe.

THAT BEING SAID... Once when I was in highschool, I saved for well over a year to get a new lens for my camera... an EF L 35 F/1.4 to be exact.... Imagine my moms surprise when I ask her to order this lens for me and that I would pay her back.... all $1200.00 dollars worth lol... so you can imagine explaining 50 dollars to your folks doesn't seem like that much of a deal to me.
