This thread should be bumped, I think.

Anyway, my buddy at work's brother is in the marines and he said they were the lowest paid of all the military branches. So, yeah, skate to raise money for those guys, I support the idea.

The people in my car today can vouch that todays event was way beyond all expectations. Also had my girlfriend along with me for seven or so miles and saw me with my friends all doing something productive and charitable, not just hanging at the skatepark smoking up behind the storage sheds. It ended up being 21 miles down from Oceanside and because there was an ex-marine lady cop assigned to the pier, we got a police escort for our critical mass style fundraiser and LDP. Road karma heavily influenced the way the high price-tag swag at the end was raffled away to some of the 19 riders that made it all the way to the Torry Pines beach. Pictures will be up on the Semper Fi site, if I was listening right. No injuries just heavy perspiration and sole callousness.

Was for sure a nice ride and great atmosphere amongst the riders. Oh and I cant feel my legs anymore, hurts to walk still, and my feet are covered in blisters and I do admit I did not make the 20 or 25 miles the Pizza and Beer smelled to good to pass up at Pizza Port in Solana Beach hahaha. Good event for a good cause. Wish I had the strength to finish the whole thing.

Thank You Derek from Honey Skateboards for organizing that event. More events like this should be goign on.

I will post some video in the next few days.
