Apex 37 with Randals?

How much of a difference is there really between a Dervish and an Apex 37 with some Randal's slapped on?
My friend told me they're practically the same thing, what are your thoughts?

i love mine, im alot more comfortable hitting garages with randals than the original trucks

they both got just about the same kinda flex. Really poppy. The width is the same too. Big difference is one is drop through and longer then the other. That drop thru and longer one also is like 40 bucks more.

Vanguard is the more accurate comparison. And Vanguards are sweet too, so I don't think it'd be a bad combination at all.

so is the randalls compatable with the apex 37.will the trucks fit in the apex 37's truck holes??

Washers for the bolts wouldn't be a bad idea, but they would fit without for sure.

I made the discovery recently that switching from Randals to Originals and vice versa results in a significant wheelbase shift. Like, a full inch for each truck.

Along the lines of this thread, putting Randals on the Apex would result in a 2" shorter wheelbase than it was designed for, as well as an inch longer nose on each side. Not a bad thing for sure. And the Apex still has multiple wheelbase options, yeah?

ya ok so can u explain about the wheel base stuff with randals. and u can add some raiser pads to be safe right?
