Helmets: A poem

Now let me take you all to school
Helmets make you look like a tool
When I'm in the hospital covered in drool
At least I'll know I looked cool.

Listen up and listen good brothers
Keep your opinions to yourself, never force it on another.
It's my choice to not wear a helmet
I understand your argument and I respect it
But in all honesty,
Do what you do, but let me be me.

If I crash and die from a head injury
You can laugh all you want at me
It was my decision
The doctors incision
In my skull lets my brain expand with precision
Because when I hit the pavement and get a concussion
At least I didn't ask for your permission
I'm my own man I don't need your supervision
And at least I didn't die in an automobile collision
When I end my life process of cell division
I'll have died doing what I love, Skateboarding on a mission.

Sometimes my head comes in contact with mouth, tongue, and the cieling

Some look like mushrooms
Others do not.
Wearing one might make you future brides or grooms.
If not, that's okay, you look just as hot.
But as for me, ill rock mine.
And watch my brain's blossom as it blooms.

N'er without armor shall my head be chanced,
Lest skull should merge with pavement or guardrail.
