Hybrid Downhill Carbon & Fiber longboard / skateboard - eBay (item 190345690845 end time Nov-06-09 09:49:03 PST)

Hybrid Downhill Carbon & Fiber longboard / skateboard
3 layers fiber ,downhill , carving, freeride, lower deck

    $169

    Hybrid Drop deck SPEEDBOARD:

    Another Name:WEDGENOSE SPEEDBOARD:

by lowering the board deck and changing the
turning angle on the truck’s mount point
    at the same time ,
create a stable deck that has quicker responsiveness. What makes the
wedgenose so great is that if it ever gets a wobble, it tends to feel like the
first wobble is the worst and then it stabilizes itself almost immediately.

This kind of skateboard makes the rider
easier to push, keep lower stance, more stable and has the
least response to wobbles at high speeds. The first real speedboards made
with this design were invented by pro speedboarder .it is in same time as
    a all around board.

wedgenose makes the turn easider than top mount or drop through board.
rider can apply the angled riser pads to change the truck angle or
change the bushings with different hardness to match your riding style,

you will get the board you want, no mater when,
    speeding downhill, carving, cruising.....

    Deck : 41*9.5 inches , wheels base : 37.5 inches

Maple & 2 layers of fiber on top &bottom ,

a layer of tri axial fiber in the middle.

super stiff , for rider 100-300 lbs.

Front nose angle: 15 degree up wedge , Back tail: Flat

    Trucks and wheels:
    Pro-180 10mm shaft Speed trucks with a

    yellow 89A soft bushings,and

an extra free set of Clear green bushings 95A for downhill
    Typhoon 87*50 79A downhill wheels

    wiht 10mm ABEC-7 bearings

also check out their vanguard look-a-like...

Thats definitely an evo with the mold modded for flat back. If the board is 42 inches long, it cant have a 37 inch wheelbase unless the bolts are off the board. Trucks on oldschool mounting are 2.5 inches from bolt to bolt, so that means that its 5 inches taken away, plus the pivot cups so the very most the wheelbase could be is 36. My guess is its 34-35 like normal evos.

I personally wouldn't trust it. You are better off buying from a reputable brand, rather than some stupid knock off.

Just finished reading this. Definitely a lot of argument going on about the morals of the whole deal but not a lot of insight as to how the board actually performs

I just picked up that urban hybrid speedboard. it is the first dropdeck board i've ridden and i absolutely love it compared to the sector 9 pipeline and others that i've learned to bomb on. I want to know what setup do i want to buy that is supposed to be the best? I'm excited that it gets better than this!!!! i'm riding typhoon 87mm wheels just like the pic and i think the same trucks as well(MR.LI 180 it says on it).

I'm pretty sure that CF is fake sticker/vinyl

I only got into longboarding last year in VANCOUVER. I didn't know if i will stick with it so I bought one of those knock offs online - the vanguard to be precise. Same shitty Typhoon wheels and trucks. The deck is REALLY flexy. I think they skipped on the fiberglassing. It's still made of bamboo and it has served me well. I have gone down many hills. If you are a first time buyer them I recomend you don't make a large investment incase you don't stick with it. But if you are somewhat experienced and know what you want save up for the good stuff.

    Cheer,

Yeah I saw... he doesn't know jack about longboards, so there's no doubt for me that he didn't make them himself. Terrible presentation, but I can't judge the quality of the product on that. If they are knock-offs, I don't really see the issue. If it was a larger or better known company like Earthwing, then yeah I see that as a problem. Buying knock-off boards is just like downloading ripped movies. my 2c
