There is some slight possibility that lawyers might get involved if you went with that one.

Also, you can't use this one. It's clearly MY logo:

Updated version? Sure! (btw I can do this look for the other two logos too, if you like one of those better)

I have to re-install photoshop the next time I'm home, but in the meantime I've been using GIMP... I think I'm starting to like it better

(this was the first real experiment with it)

something to consider is that a good logo should make sense at any scale, so if its the size of a dime on a business card or the side of the blimp people can look at it and recognize the brand

if you scale your design to 50x50 pixels and it doesnt make any sense you might want to reconsider,

just food for thought

Oh, and Ian... if you want that blue splattery background thing to entirely surround the logo, I can do that just as easily. Wasn't quite sure how to translate it over, considering the OP design doesn't have a distinction between logo and text.

EDIT: Or we could just ditch the P completely...

the looks good. but take away the glow for petes sake... lol it looks tacky...

I was thinking the same myself... It looks much better smaller, where it's not so much glow as a green outline. I'll make it a solid outline in the morning and see how it looks... for now it's BEDTIME.

Looks like trouble drawing with a mouse. For nice looking curves, I find it best to use a vector-based program... Personally, I use a 3D CAD program to draw my lines, then do the fancy stuff in Photoshop/GIMP.
