A thousand yes's to this. There are tons of uprooted sidewalks here. Nothing like hitting one and flying straight into sidewalk hands first.

Uggh, nearly all the pavement at my school is ridiculous. They have these giant gaps in the sidewalk, and a lot of places that are uprooted. The asphalt around a lot of the classes is either super-pebbley or just uneven. But, the music department at the far end of the school is brand new and has a couple miles of freshly poored parking lot thats pretty good.

Should the world be a super flat slab of concrete? For skateboarding, that would be nice. But, it would be ugly. I love overgrown uprooted developments. They're not fast, but they're technical. It's harder to go fast on uneven pavement then it is to go fast on perfect pavement.

Perfect pavement is boring and ugly.

The same with mountain biking. I go up to New York and those guys used to laugh at me, because I'm from flat land Fort Lauderdale. But, after I got done spanking their asses all over the place, they had a bit more respect. Florida is flat, but technical. Technical because of all the coral rock and cypress roots. It's a very tough ride. Way way tougher than climbing hills in New York. I have no experience climbing hills, but I still spanked 25 year old kids that lived in New York on the hills in their back yard.

Technical is far far more difficult than just plan fast.

When I'm sliding and my butt touches the ground making the road into a high speed belt sander and my sweet heiny is the victim. There are few things worse to me than a pair of half dollar sized road rash poka dots on my @SS cheeks.
