I agree with longboardskater.com. Also, make yourself known at your local shop. If they don't carry what you want, turn them on to it. Beg them to bring it in and then BUY it. Money talks....

Switchback Longboards. If they don't have what I need, then either StokedSkateboards or Longboardskater.

For decks, Soda Factory all the way.

I have bought a fair amount of crap recently from a number of vendors. All of them have provided pretty decent service, and I don't think you can go wrong with any of them.

That being said, Mark (aka Stringtheory) of East Coast Core Skates, has really gone above and beyond when it comes to service and response. I am hoping that he stays in the business for a long time, continues to build his inventory, and keeps the personality that he currently has.

Some other stores occasionally sell stuff for less, but I would rather pay the difference just to do business with ECC.

Buy locally. If you're in Colorado, go with Mile High Skates. If you're on the east coast go with East Coast Core Skates. If you're in the Midwest try Modern Skate and Surf. Local is where it's at!

Ive heard great things about milehigh and when I went to order from them I emailed first and asked a question about bushings. Mark helped me out an answered my questions. They do also have good pricing and good shipping rates (free for me )So I put my order in but I haven't heard back yet. I ordered Thursday morning and never got an order confirmation, shipping confirmation or anything like that. Guess well see how the transaction turns out, granted it IS a holiday weekend so maybe that's the reason for the delay.

Did you use paypal and if so did you read the instructions on his site about paypal?

I mainly go to my local shop Rip City Skate. The owner of the shop is very active in the DH scene here in Portland.

If I can't get something there I tend to goto sundae skates, mile high skates or longboard skater.
