Tell her/him that you love her/him: Giving thanks to that plank on wheels

Hey all,

I think it would be appropriate to give thanks to our boards. Tell them how we appreciate them and love them for the wonderful things they do. Thank them for that sweet, sweet rush they give us when we're bombing a hill, sliding, slaloming between people/cones/obstacles, carving a luscious hill, and more. It's not very often that we think about that plank on wheels. Too often we take it for granted, not realizing that this relatively simple contraption turns gravity and asphalt into something more. So give thanks, and tell that board you love it.

I'll start. I would just like to say thank you to my longboard. She's a lovely girl, a dervish on paris 180's and Otangs to be exact. Today she saved me 30 minutes on my commute today. She transformed the boring walk to the bus stop into a wonderful destress. It was so fun that I ended up not waiting for the bus, and going straight onto the subway station some miles farther down the road. Thank you board, I love you
