The landyachtz swith is good at all styles of riding. The switch is great at DH, but is designed as a freeride WITH DH, board. The switch has a DEEP concave, which will help you foot lock in, when bombing, deeper than evo

If you are ALL DH, then I suggest evo, but if you want to get the complete pakage, then I suggest the switch

    Hope you get it!

Sources: I own a landyachtz switch.

yes...it is very stable although there are better dh boards in my opinion. it will be versatile, however, being fun to freeride as well.

The switch is decent at downhill. It's low and stable but it's a little odd for front foot placement because the gnar bars are so deep.

Do you mean 'a DEEP drop' as in the drop of the deck?

I ask because the Evo has a deep dropped deck with rails, but it's really flat rather than concaved.

The Evo has concave and it is far from flat.
