Default yet another new ride thread

gravity is such an awesome company. so here's the story: i ordered and ed economy surf rider from gravity. two weeks pass by and still no board. i e-mailed kevin the sales manager and asked what the shipping status was. turns out there was a mix up and it didn't get shipped. no biggie, but to offer compensation, he also threw in a carve 46 deck with the sweet golden barrel graphic for free (which i bolted to some spare randalls i had). not to mention i got two t-shirts and a ton of stickers for free as well.

finally my surf rider arrived and i took it out for it's maiden voyage. this is probably the most fun board i've ever ridden. i can do long, mellow soul carves as well as hard carves and cut backs since the wheel cut-outs completely eliminate wheel-bite. drifting and sliding are fun as hell. everything is better just because the deck is so big and comfy. next i'm gonna practice my board walking tricks.

Default Ed E cutouts with randals

The cutouts on your Ed E board work functionally with Randal trucks? Wow. They must've updated their template, because the last Bank Rider that I had only had clearance on standard style trucks. I got full-on wheelbite with Randal 180's and Gumballs, but the cutouts worked like a charm when I switched to 180 Seismics. I think the fact that Randal trucks have the axle farther from the pivot makes it to where they don't work to well with the Ed E-style cutouts, unless the holes are redrilled farther out. But like I said, they might have updated the template by now.

Dude, I totally just bought a surf rider, and those graphics are ten billion times cooler than mine.
