Trylams are sweet decks, especially with 180s on them. you saw i had mine for sale, i think im gonna hold onto it now that i dont need money. i was also planning on getting some Grippins for it from you in a week or so, do they all run smoothly together? the flex on the Trylam is perfect for cruising and hard carving with loose trucks, i bet the Grippins go very nicely. thumbs up dude.

I was hoping to take it out tonite, but it's raining pretty good here.

The Trylam definitely has a lot of spring to it. I'm 210# or so, and it's stiff. Can't wait to see how it pumps.

yeah i'm only 165, it is pretty stiff, but when you're making hard turns and you really push out from the knees it flexes like you want it to.

i was the guy who asked you to put 2 sets of those foundation wheels on hold...i was wondering, now they aren't listed as in stock...so when i want to actually order them, should i email you and you can make them available again?

seen so many sec 9's in psuedo skate shops that I'm wary of their quality. the posts of lots of users here haven't done much to sway me in either direction. but I'll tell ya, the trylams sure do look like they got potential. the bamboo boards they got out (have seen two: a pin and a shorty) look very nice.

looking forward to your wise words on the trylam Mark

I have a Madiera Pin, and enjoy it immensely. I just put some Randals and Gumballs on it, rides like a dream.

I prolly woukld like them but I don't really care for their graphics. I know, I know. boards are functional first, pretty second. The opinions on SF have ranged from great to demon spawn which doesn't help. also back in Japan, I saw too many of them in the local used sports store. wondering why...

the trylam and bamboo ones do look like a step in the right direction.

I got a chance to ride a s9 bamboo pin a little. Its flexy, and looks great. I like the clear grip they have on them too. The shorter one with the tail is nice as well. The skateshop i was in had the pin on R2s and the smoke-colored 76mm s9 wheels.

As for s9 in general, Their decks are good, not the best, but good. They are doing themselves a disservice (did I make that word up? who cares) by setting them up on crap for the most part (minus the "platinum series").

The Trylam was short lived. With the Randals, it was too tall, and way too turny. It's now dismantled, and will be reborn with Core trucks (6.0 or 7.0, don't know yet) and possibly wedge risers.
