Nate, please try to keep a topic to just one section and not spam. I'd recommend deleting the other posts. The other guys here wouldn't be so nice.

Ooops, you're gone. I guess you're screwed then.

Hey kc, this isn't a regular thing. Just throwing a hello out there to everyone. Trying to just reach out to all ridders that missed FlexDex while we were gone. Hope ridding has been great, its about to get better.

I'm not trying to be a figure of authority here. Just wanted to give you a heads up beacuse last time when the GF Hurley (Hey D0. they're everywhere!) did something like this, they got scolded by tons of people here.

Hey Directive0 thats a mean looking crew or rippers you got there. Probably one of the biggest board gangs I've seen in sometime. Is that a regular meeting, or special thing?

Thats right, that was just this last weekend wasn't it? How did the meeting go? Man really wished I could have been around for that, maybe next year. That looks epic.

It was a tight session man, yep just last sat. On a side note, there was a guy riding a flexdex there. Was a VERY interesting ride bro, my commendations.

Your see-through carbon polymer board is VERY interesting too. Now be candid, whats the weight to strength ratio like?

I could tell you all about how strong and indestructible these boards are or I could just show you. And its that flex that really makes our boards different. Its not leaning to turn but driving and carving. We think its pretty rad.

I didn't really ask about the strength... I wanna know how much WEIGHT we're getting per foot-pounds of strength. Or whatever ratio you would normally use. They seem like they're heavy boards... thats all.

Word on the street is I'm getting a Vanguard and an insect dragonfly. What should I get to round out the mini quiver? I was thinkin either the clear 29 incher or the slalom. It pains me to not get both, the fiberglass composites beckon my inner geek. Oh, and how strong is the clear board? I haven't seen any elephants trampling it lately.

Right, I'm sure that you are aware of the extreme fear elephants tend to have towards clear skateboards. So as to not hurt any animals physically or emotionally we kept the clear FlexDex's away.

Both boards are really great and extremely strong. The clear board rides down the street like silk, I mean extremely smooth. It comes with 62mm wheels and has always been a great board. Not made of FlexDex material but thats just as well as some claim it rides smoother.

The slalom 30 is the commander. This board is made to pump and really rip on. Its fast and responsive. Speed bumbs, rough pavement...no problem. This board can honestly handle anything you throw at it.

Hope that helps. Still seems like a really tough decision.

I think I'll go with the clear, since I'll probably be commuting mostly. Thanks a lot.
