I'd say some moisture got under the heat transfer image and its lifting either the transfer or the grain of the wood.... either way I'd email those pics to kebbek and ask for a "wtf is going on here". On one hand tho... you DID get it soaked so I doubt you'll get much in the way of refurbishment.

close to the same thing happened to me. I got stuck going down a run in pouring rain the second day I had my landy dh. Not to say it wasn't fun as hell and the slides were amazing, but AHHHHHH!

    Tough break dude.
Me personaly, i would always give a nice shiney new board a couple of layers of clearcoat when i got it home to give it a bit more rain protection. Sadley....Ive never had a shiney new board to take home.

board damage is unavoidable. but when you have a brand new board you want it to stay undamaged for a little while. when you do f$#k up a new board you don't worry about keeping it perfect and you become less nervous thus skating even better. it also adds character to the board.

That is from water getting on your board, it happened to one of my boards. It has nothing to do with the manufacturer

When you first got home did you start to whipe all the water off? That helps a TON.

Comparing, my landy which got soaked and cleaned off right when I got to my car and was just fine to my BE40 which got SOAKED in a sewer and had a noticeably "weaker" feeling.
