Will see if I have to travel to Silicon Valley around the same time. then we can skate and party afterwards.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, cold beer in one hand - longboard in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming, Yeaa Haaa What A Ride!!!

During the spring and summer months there is a longboard crew here in Madison that meets at 11:00PM every Sunday night for sessions. Mostly U of Wisc college kids. I have been invited ... but I gotta be at work on Monday morning. There must be a transition point that I passed somewhere in the past. Youngsters skate all night and sleep in, old farts retire early and skate early.

Easy solution. Take a nap when you get home. 3 hours or so. By the time you get your old broken down body home you will sleep for another few hours and be golden.

Right on Katarina, I'm the most energetic 40-year-old I know. I hit the skatepark twice a week and usually got for an hour or two, and I go to a gym and workout, and ride bicycles when time allows. Here lately it's been raining every night I'm free to skate and I've been crying in my beer over it. I have to date night tonight(not complaining my other half rocks), and tomorrow and Monday and several other nights next week I have to work and it looks like I might not get to skate again until the week after next. Once basketball season is over I will get more skate time though.

They close down Golden Gate park on Sunday for people to ride bikes, blades or skateboards on the very smooth roads.

Conservatory Drive in GGP is not very smooth-- no run-out, but fun just the same!

Cool. Do you go skating when you travel? I do when I can. I spent a week in Provo Utah last year and skated at the Orem and Salt Lake parks and rode my longboard on a really nice bike path.

Yea, I'm going to Japan for a month and I'm taking my EarthWing Suprecharger, if I find and old golf bag I will take my E glide Dewey Weber (dual motor) longboard.

I make most of my money building furniture, and remodeling houses. The board building has really taken off in the last 6 months for though, so we'll see where it takes me. There is plenty of time between glue ups for me to be posting on here through the day though.
