What are your board's Names?

Many people love to name things they own that they love, their cars (usually some girls name), their body parts ( lets be innocent here.. hehe), and no doubt their longboards right??

Well, I felt like starting a thread where you can tell us the name of your board(s) and why so.

my 3 boards goes as follows

1. "Q-tip" Gordan and Smith Blacktip 44inch Pintail, first board I had, girls always wanted to learn how to skate with this board, and was always commented on how cute and newbie frendly the ride is. Cute+blacktip = Qtip. Infact my new paint scheme and overall design overhaul of this setup is themed on a Qtip.

2. "FreshKut" Kebbek Flushcut, my racer, like a refined European Machinery he's Precise,so fresh,.

3. "StOak" Loaded Vanguard Oak Flex 4, definetly you can feel the stoke when riding this board, makes me feel like Adam on his bamboo one.

So go on. Name away!!... if not, common be creative and name your boards, they should be loved like a pet or family..

snubnose 46" sector9 pintail with a snapped deck before the rear truck. i redrilled it and seeing how it was no longer a pin-tail and the nose was rounded quite a bit from abuse i just called it the snubnose. with the redrilled truck its somewhere between 38-40 inches

bs - sector9 bombhills with flattened concave and warp (factory proto $40). named for all the times i was carving hard and i got wheelbite due to the warped deck. "man that was BS"

Whats wrong to name something you care for alot. By you saying #### it up cause its a skateboard, then I hope you're not being a hypocrite and cleaning your bearings and equipment periodically, just use it and dump it.

Gay? in what terms that its not cool?.. or me attracting males?,, heh,, qtip has added to alot of fun times with girls more than any expensive car, popularity, or mulas in a wallet can buy over my 5 years of college.. Bet you dont even know how badily a girl feels when they crashed and dented something that theyve felt connected too as well because its personified with a name and they know how much the board means to me as my daily method of transportation and energetic outlet. Im not saying one is to use a board as a tool to get girls, just showing the attractive benefits of being passionate about your hobby.

In terms of naming things that might be "gay"...its like saying. dont name a goldfish, they're just things that swim around in a tank, its not like their going to respond to your name calling, and that they die in a week.

The only bearings I take the time to clean are my ceramic Ron's that I use for racing. Occasionaly my front Rad bearing too. But im not pulling frontsides in the bowl with that.

You're right, I dont know how a girl feels if she crashes one of my boards into a curb. Thats because my girl doesnt skate because she doesnt want the scars like I have. She did however get me a PPS foamcore for my birthday. Did I name that? No. I skated it.

1) I call my Zorlac pool board Azmodeal, Demon of the Foul Depths, Reaper of Souls and Corrupter of the Innocent.

2) I call my Comet carving deck the Kwisatz Haderach, the Alpha and the Omega, as it was in the beginning, so shall it be forever, amen.

3) I call my GSD reissue Roger.

On the other hand, I heard flamboyant gay guys like campy inatimite objects, so you just might be cruising in the right direction. Good luck with that.

But in the end it's really just a great piece of equipment that's meant to be ridden.

In a sense, those negative guys killed my thread. Now, who wants to come in here and discuss naming their boards when they got fools calling it gay and personally poking fun at the individual name or what one thinks of their board.

Seriously. if you know' or can assume that they're riding their boards, who gives how they name it, call it, paint it, or store it etc. I was talking about naming a board, not fukin an obssessive lifestyle treating it like a pet and talking to it.

im not even going to continue my arguments, you guys dont know me of any of the others who're naming their boards, so dont make lame assumptions, as neither do I about you. Its easy to feel all big in front of the computer like you own it all.

Anyways, this thread is so people within the longboard community can talk about a common behavior we may share, and Im just curious what people name their boards. . Go on with the names, and no more thread jacking unless its constructive. thanks

Lighten up Francis, its called humor. You really think you were going to start a thread about naming your f_ucking skateboards and you weren't going to get your balls broke just a little bit? This place hasn't gone completely sterile........yet.

Here, if it makes you feel better, I'll name my poolboard Lamar and put a pink scarf around the nose.
