Where To Get Door Trim?

So after seeing the weefunk from heaven....(look below)

And seein that door trim, i thought it was a great idea. i know that would definetly prevent some major dings in my new evo.

Well i had about a hour a freetime today so i headed out to walmart and g.i joes (both right next to each other) to see if they had any that would work. well walmart didn't have squat and i wanted to punch all the stupid ppl there. and g.i joes didn't have any big enough

I did find door trim, but none nearly big enough for my evo. the door trim they had would probably fit somethin 1/8'' big, like that wefunk. but my evo is 11ply and close to 1/2'' thick, so i don't even know if i could find door trim for something that thick, unless it was made for a tank or a swat APC.

So 2 questions...

1) Well if they do make it, does anyone know where i could get some? i'm planing on eventually checking autozone and all those other car-specialty stores later in the week. but i really doubt they make them that big, where else could i look other than car-stores?

2) If i can't find any to fit, then what else could i use? i really don't want to resort to black garden hose's, though it is a possibilty. but does anyone know of anything thats black and would work in the same manner on my evo as the door trim? remember it has to be atleast 1/2'' to be able to fit the evo.

i have no clue where to find that jazz.......just take care of ur new board like its ur own son.......because it iss.....the board in the picyure is TRE KOOL

"Surfco Tail Guard" (or Nose Guard) (just google or ebay for that) is your friend.

stick-on rubber-bumper.
comes also in clear.
(thanks to LBL I had this pre-attached to the custommade I once traded with him.)

I have rubber tubing that I split down the center and glued.

wow that Surfco Tail Guard is what i need, but it doesn't seem wide enough to cover the 1/2'' of my evo

if you live anywhere near a west marine or boat us store you can get this stuff called "flex trim" for like 14$ for 20'

I have a Make Poverty History band on one of my boards as a bumper, maybe you could use two to do the same thing?

well i went to lowes today, i didn't have much time but i tried looking around, the closest i found was some rubber for doors, but i would really have to mold it. so preety much i didn't find anything

tommarow after work i'll drop by a few car stores to see what they have.

Does anyone know how tall that surfco tail gaurd is? i need it to be 1/2'' inch or more for my evo
