this is how much i love longboarding...
I'm using it for examples, quotes, and whatnot in applications for graduate school, and for scholarships.
it should either confuse the hell out of the prof's reading this, or bring a smile to their face. I hope it's the latter.
i just hope my stoke can transfer over to them, so they give me admission and money

"i never met a hill i didn't like", "to slide or not to slide, there is no question" or "longboarders do it with hardware"..actually that sounds a bit dodgy (do i mean sketchy) no wait i mean shady, hang on THIS is shady "perfect pumping is pure pleasure" haha, how fun.."a skate a day keeps the blues away", "i bombed, i carved, i slid", "my other board is a carbon evo", oh dear, i better quit while i'm not ahead..but i did enjoy that. thanx, i had a crummy day that cheered me up.

i was as slolom racer with a santa cruzzzzzzzzzzzzz double cutaway with trackers and hesters. but alwaya admired long boarders as they were toooooooo smooth.

Re: this is how much i love longboarding...
Good s h i t George Tomahawk. I was going to write my final paper on my experiences in longboarding/speedboarding throughout this year and how it came into play in my life after thinking about skating again and surfing the internet at work and stumbling upon a website called silverfishlongboarding and linking to websites like solidskate but my teacher gave us a list of topics to write on. So I ll save my story for another class. Anyhow GMR THIS WEEKEND GEORGE BE THERE!!!!

I think it depends on the department and the school. I think that would have a positive effect for people in departments like physics and math - or other places known for people with quirky behaviour. But some departments are just to snobby and academical. For instance I can't see people in law or medicine or business appreciating it. Longboarding isn't "grown up" or "professional" behaviour.
I'm sure I am going to get attacked by some professionals now ... Kai's a lawyer, right? Obviously there are exceptions. My appologies to the exceptions.
