lately its been raining a lot where I live and it had be thinking... garage riding is a lot of fun and can be done in the rain, Everyone rides garages on the fish and I never hear any of the stories, I dont know if its just me or if it happens to everybody here, but every time me and my crew go to a garage theres always a story to tell. Soooo. Tell your most memorable garage experience in this thread.
I have two... one is when me and my friends went to our local garage that we usually get busted at, and there were about 4 middle aged men skating already, we had a nice sesh with them and they all had a lot of style, and we thought noone in out town actually did this but us, it was awesome.
Second story was when me and my crew were in berkeley and the rain become too intense so we hit up this nice garage and because of the slickness of the ground everyone was slipping all over the place, the greatesr part was when my friend david (small hippo) fell off his board (kebbek flushcut) and it flew off the second story down to a nearby sidewalk and only got a small chip. Great day...
Now you tell your best and maybe worst garage experiences.

mine would defenitly be when Danny Downhiller took out an arm gate at our favorite garage, just when two guys were walking to the cars. we got up, survey'd the damage, stood there for a couple seconds while the two dudes getting into their beamer just stood there, jaw dropped. then we got the hell out of there! we still skate there though.
theres a picture of that garage in the last issue of concrete wave. you can see the arm gate that we broke off (now fixed)
My favorite garage session was homecoming 96 at SUNY Stony Brook. My fraternity with ASA (the sorority we had teamed up with to build a float for homecoming) had staked out claim to the parking garage by the admin building as the site for building the float. I did nothing but skate the garage, drink, and occasionally pitch in at painting the float. Since public safety knew we were there building a float, they never came by. I got to ride the elevator up and skate down for at least 2 dozen runs through the whole night on a big red Topps 56 inch surf style longboard with indies and powell bowl bombers.
my fav is the U of T garage in Toronto when its -10000000 outside. Its heated, underground, and has an elevator.....and if AUBS is skating with you she can sweet talk the rent-a-cops...lol

Last winter I went out with a few of my buddies and had an all night garage skate session. Went out around 7 pm and skated until sunrise. We rode at least 6 local garages that night, when we got home we were so exhausted and freezing from the cold. Fun night
I went with a few of my friends to a garage in town today and the whole thing was closed but a door was open, had a lot of fun. Security saw us and did nothing, much different than usual, once we were actually chased by a security golf cart, keep the stories coming.

I went with three of my friends to a Hilton Hotel. It has three sections one is the employee parking, one Its so easy to avoid the rents. Me and one of my friends both had a long board. My other two friends one had a street board and the other had a board from the 70's with loose bearings. For having loose bearings he did preatty good. We hit a section paved with bricks and he lost it and fell it was hilarious. Another day me and another friend went to a highette hotel and there ramps are steep and smooth. We went down the first ramp and barely made the turn. The next ramp we both had to bail off our boards, and on the last ramp went onto the ground level and changed to asphalt at the bottom and my friend went down before me and when he got to the asphalt his board shot out from under him and he got road rash from the back of his thigh to half way up his rear end. His mesh shorts he was wearing were black for a month.
