Home Made Dropdeck

I just built this home made drop deck in my dads shop. This board was a bitch to make. First time i put it into the mold it snapped, second time i soaked it in the bath tub over night. The next morning it fit right in and didnt snap. I left it in there for 3 days, glued the boards together and left it in there for another five days. I used a band saw to cut the board into the shape. I used a router to curve the edges, and sanded it down.
I wanted to do something simple for the graphic because i am not an artist at all. So i drew this guy and cut him out to make a stencil.




And this is the first board i built, The bottom has the sublime sun logo on it.


O and im setting up the speed board with bear grizzlys and seismic blast waves 79a

That speedboard would look really good with some white Force trucks.
And the second one looks like it was modeled after an vanguard, does it have flex?

The drop decks widest base point is 9 inches, then it thins out to 7 inches, its 42 inches long. Im going to make it a drop through i just need the trucks to make sure it wont bottom out.

Ya it was modeled after the vanguard, its just cut down, and the curve is bigger, it has almost no flex. But it rides great and handles speed well.

My dad helped me a little bit, He helped me make the mold and fix it, because when we first did it the drop was too steep and snapped the board. After that i did the sanding, cutting, routing, and painting my self.
